Welcome Class of 2012!

In order to register for classes, first-year students must attend a StART OWU session. Four sessions were held in June. The remaining session, August StART OWU, consists of two parts.

The first part is a Course Registration Mailing which most of you will receive in the first week of July. Included in this mailing are three items containing important information:

1. StART OWU binder
2. Red Case containing:
   • Course Registration Guide/Academic Snapshot
   • Course Checklist
   • Advising Information Profile
3. E-mail Account Information

Once you receive the mailing, your first tasks are to review the first three sections of the binder and complete and return the three forms by July 7. We will use the information in these forms to register you for fall semester classes.

The second part of August StART OWU occurs Wednesday, August 20. While on campus, you will take a language placement exam, obtain your OWU ID/Meal card, attend workshops, and complete your course registration process. For a tentative schedule please go to http://start.owu.edu.
