In order to register for classes, first-year students attend one of four StART OWU sessions held in June*. It is during StART OWU that you begin your academic transition from high school to college.

Along with your Class of 2012 classmates and potential roommates, you will work together in small groups with faculty and student registration guides trained to answer your questions.

You will leave campus with your fall semester course schedule and valuable information about what to expect when you return to campus in August.

Parents are welcome to attend StART OWU. In parent's only workshops, they will learn about the academic climate at OWU and what to expect as you begin the transition from home life to campus life.
